New? What you need to know...
Please arrive 5-10 minutes before class time to fill out new student paperwork. Wear workout clothing that is comfortable and breathable without being too loose. For cycle and Cross Training please wear exercise (tennis) shoes. All other classes can be done barefoot. Bringing hydration and a towel is recommended. We accept cash, check and credit/debit cards. Paying online is also available.
SPINNING
A party on a bike! Fun music from rock to reggae plays as you sprint, climb hills, and race along. Blast calories all while having a great time.
PILATES
Pilates is a form of exercise that emphasizes the balance developement of the body through core strength, flexibility, and awareness in order to support efficient, graceful movement. Pilates works well for a wide-range of people. Athletes and dancers, seniors, moms getting their pre-baby body back, runners and even post-physical rehabilitation individuals benefit emmensely. Just some of the benefits that people see are becoming stronger, longer, leaner and able to function more efficiently in their daily lives.
YOGA
We offer Yoga classes for all levels. Goodnight Yoga and Breezy Yoga are very relaxing and similar to Hatha Yoga. Flow Yoga offers a Vinyasa-style flow class where breathing is center stage. Yoga Fusion combines flow Yoga with poses that will challenge your balance and concentration.
REFORMER
At first glance the Pilates Reformer seems intimidating. After your first class, though, you realize that it is your best friend! The Reformer uses springs to offer assistance and resistance, challenging first your core and then your limbs. Coordination, concentration, and mindfullness increase as you strenghthen your muscles and become more flexible. Your posture will improve as will your ability to perform day-to-day activities. Start with a private sesssion and from there continue on with personal classes or join a 3-4 person class. Train with the ONLY Peak PilateSystem comprehensive trainer in Kansas City, Sally Whitaker.
